ok im am currently in love in the s4, and hoping to purchase one very soon, but why are the hp numbers so low, i mean like it has 5 valves per cylinder variable cam timing and a host of all other goodies to boost volumetric efficiency, i would expect this engine to make 250 without forced induction, with forced induction i would say 300 is very modest.. wuts going on. 250 hp at 5500 sounds like this sucker can't breath. im confused

It's detuned for reliability..and Audi doesn't need to prove anything..

if the plumbing were made less restrictive. That's why a stage III kit with less restrictive
plumbing gives you over 400hp. I had a Talon TSi AWD with mods before my S4. There is
absolutely no comparison. The Talon was fun, but the S4 is a torque BEAST!
