Default Doing brakes this w/e...anything special to know?

I've got all rotors and pads and a tool to push out the rear caliper pistons. I need to get some anti rattle paste though. Is there anything else I need? A bottle of fluid? If so, are our cars equipped with DOT 3 or 4 stock?

Default just pads? easy. last week i took off all 4 calipers and rotors

and machined off about .002" to get rid of unsightly rust. then completely stripped the calipers down, sandblasted the crap out of them, and now they are ready for powdercoat.

brake pads and rotors are pretty straight forward though ... as long as you have that tool for the rear pistons.

Default The 2 bolts that hold the caliper on are very tight. Maybe some P Blaster.

Especially if this is the first rotor change.

If not, probably not too difficult.

Default Breaker bar not PB blaster.

Turn the steering wheel to full lock so you can feed a breaker bar in there, and lean on it outside the wheel well. Those bolts are torqued very tight. PB Blaster isn't going to loosen them.

2nd. Don't bother with the PB blaster.
