What type of tool (and where can I get it) can be used to adjust the door latch on door frame? It's held in place by two star-type bolts. I'm trying to make the doors close tighter to eliminate the creaking I'm hearing from ALL the doors (I tried silicone, grease, etc. but it only lasted a few weeks). TIA

Not sure, but the "star-type" bolts make it sound like you need a torx bit.

Thought that might be it, but it's pretty big. Do torx come in large sizes?

You bet!!! They come as sockets as a handle would not provide enough torque

Torx bits come in lots of sizes; similar to hex (allen) bolts.

Tracking noises and solving them is a painstaking ordeal that many have given up on.

I took a look at that bolt you are referring to. It's not a torx bolt. It does have a star pattern, but it has 2.5 times as many ridges in it as a torx bolt. Hmmm, you might be able to talk your dealer into letting you borrow the correct tool for a few minutes?
