Just make sure to say AR Design (ARD, Air Reasearch Design) Since there marketing can't decide what to go with.

And I get confused. LOL

AR Design and ARD are two different companies. AR Design is in Colorado at www.ardesign.info. Weird, no?

What's the benefit of merging into one pipe? Or is it just impossible to fit two 3" pipes next to each other?

Yeah, impossible to make it fit, IIRC. I don't know why one 3" is better than two 2.25". Two 2.25"s is bigger than one 3" so it must have something to do with the flow - or maybe it's just cooler looking.
