DP heatshields with K04s, do you have it or not and why.
I did put them on over my LaBrees but I'm not sure if they make the shrilling sounds I hear.
I decided to use them as I dont need any more heat in the engine compartment.
I also have a heater for wintertemps and the small exhaustpipe is not yet firmly tied so it could also be it.

Hi Smurf,
I really think that the heatshields are a good idea. Lots of wiring above the DP's that no one wants to see get crunchy.

I have them...
They were removed when I had the downpipes installed (would be tough to get them back on properly with the engine still in), but reinstalled when I had the K04s put on. With the engine out it should be easy to install them and bend as necessary to fit around larger downpipes with no rattling. In my case, they are installed over 3" Autospeed downpipes with no issues whatsoever.
