Default Dual rear fog mod.

I did the mod yesterday, and it was super easy (with an air grinder). I put in 27 watt 'super white' bulbs. The car blew the 15amp 'fog/rear fog' fuse. Is it safe to switch to a higher rating (20amp) fuse to prevent this? or am I asking for a fire?

Default Is it the same fuse for both the front and rear bulbs?

do you have stock bulbs in the front fogs?

Default Yes, one fuse for both front/rear. No, I have HID's in the front fog lamps...

so the current draw on startup is high. I have to get a multitester on that circuit I think.

Default ah, it may be ok then, but of course protection will be reduced

A short circuit would easily pop a 20 amp fuse anyway. If the 20 blows, don't go to 25.

I'd suggest using a slow blow fuse, but I don't know if our stock fuses are already slow blow or not.
