Default 123k miles or 24k miles, the turbos will always have a high chance of blowing.

I was saying that even w/ high mileage, its not bad because the 2.7T is a solid engine that Audi made. with a low price tag like 14k, It gives you some serious leeway to bring your car to stage 3, which will provide you with brand new bigger turbos and a barrage of new parts that will get your car pulling like new again.

we have a guy here with a imola Avant S4 and he's at 130k miles already and going strong.

when you start thinking about high miles just think that most of us gen Y'ers paid close to 30k dollars for our low mileage S4's. you'll be paying less than half of that.

Default I would man, seriously it sounds like a good deal to me. As far as the pissing match goes..

..you kinda have to understand that the way you presented things doesnt put you in the best light to most of us. I'm sure theres more to it than what you've posted, and its good to hear that you're at least planning on reimbursing the seller for his costs if you decide not to take the car.

Default its not funny man, the way you screwed that guy.

usually people selling their cars, are on a Timeline and set schedule. maybe he was moving overseas or something and needed to sell, you probably just screwed him over.

and 14k was a good deal. Kinda weird that 100 people replied and no one thought it was funny but you? just suck it up and apologize man, you can still regain respect from some on this forum. youre not going to wiin if you keep this defensive mode up.
