ECUx guys - is there any way to set hotkeys to start and stop logging?

Default I don't think so, but that would be nice.
Trying to work the trackpad while driving is a real challenge!

Default no kidding, ECUx is a hazard to use while driving - APR WAKE TEH F UP
too bad APR doesn't have anybody updating it regularly.... AND updates are never available on their website.

Default In fairness, VAG-COM isn't any easier.
Working on teh PC while driving is dangerous. Don't do it, kids </PSA>

Default am I the only one that doesn't have sympathy for someone operating ECUx while drivnig? :P
Seriously though, I'm not sure APR should feel too bad if someone complains about not being able to use their software WHILE driving the car. I've never tried messing with the software while I drive, either I've done it while a friend drives or vice versa.

Default either way, having hotkeys is a good thing.
i understand your point, but somehow i doubt the horrible UI of ECUx isn't on purpose to make sure we dont use it while driving.

Just use an old mouse: Pull the ball out and keep the arrow on the pause button.

Default VAG-COM inserts a pointer in teh log when you hit the spacebar. at least that way you know where
the relevant data starts and ends, and you dont need to divert your attention from the road to hit a target the size of the spacebar.

people are going to use it while driving regardless. so why not make it easier or safer.
