I am looking at purchasing ECUx. After all the migey-moaning about getting it to work with vag cables, I am asking people that have had problems what their particular setup is, so I can do around it if possible. For those that have no issues, what would people suggest me getting? I have a laptop with both serial and USB portS. I already have a HEX-USB cable.

I use:

USB port 1 for Vag_Com and ECUX
USB port 2 for Lemmi(with serial driver)

Also this is on both my IBM TPad laptops, R51 and T41 models, ECUX only installed on one.

Once APR made a properties file for my allroad's ECU, everything worked fine. To be precise, my set-up is an IBM T41 running XP Pro, Ross-Tech HEX-USB cable, and ECUx.
