Electrical problem - car won't turn off

I left my 2000 S4 in the driveway tonight and locked it. The alarm went off after 10 minutes and wouldn't go off with the key fob. I turned the car on and when I turned and removed the key the engine kept running - I had to stall it to turn it off. Any ideas what could be causing this? I replaced the alternator a few months ago.

Hazard relay in the dash. Fails often, easily replaced.
