Embarrasing Kill Story...(somewhat long)
So Saturday on my way home from the beach this Geo something or other(didn't even know they still made those)pulls up next to me at a light. The guy starts revving his engine and the light goes green so i step on it and needless to say it was really over before it started. Don't know if the car was stock(in terms of engine) but it had the essential ricer parts on the outside fart can, big wing, rims, standard different color body panels/kit. By the way i'm totally stock for now, plan on getting the Borla exhaust and either GIAC or APR chip within the next two months.

Why doesn't anybody take the time to play with their prey anymore?
I mean you *know* the outcome as soon as he rev's his engine. Why not let him get up a car length and follow? Listen to that sweet 4 cyl at full song! See how far he's willing to push that Metro in the name of ricers. And if you're feeling especially benevolent, let him "win" so he'll have something to tell his buddies when they ask whether that big stupid wing made a difference.

By the way do these people actually think...
The fart can and wing sound/look good? Or do they think it actually makes there car that much faster? What is it with these people's mentality.

I actually had a really nice conversation with a "ricer" some time back.........Never really........
thought much about it but the guy was actaully really nice and into cars.
Basically, I was stopped at a light and this guy in an old Nissan Sentra started revving on me. I'm not really a street racer but said what the hell - blasted him pretty good. I heard a blow off sound after his first shift and was curious so pulled over after the run. The guy was soooo into cars - he had a turbo with fueling and the whole bit - seemed to know a lot about cars also. I don't know, he seemed quite a bit different than the "typical" ricer I was expecting to meet.
Personally, I think all that stuff looks stupid but if another enthusiast likes the stuff, to each his own I guess. (Also depends on how many zeros there are in your check book.)
