dont remember exactly 8 something, maybe a little over 9 after shipping costs :-\..
but WELL worth it. it grabs on command without failure.

you can look at it this way...
dont pay utilities for a month (~150), no coffee for a month (60-80), and get all that spare change laying around the house.
dont forget to look in your snow jacket/pants (its not uncommon to find over 40 bucks sometimes)
soon enough, youll make up the difference, and youll be that much happier.
