Engine Pull debate - With or Without subframe

I have had my car sitting dormant in the garage for months. I pulled the engine last fall, went on vacation and never finished it because it was too cold. Well now things are warming up and I just installed a maxjax lift.

I pulled the engine with out the subframe, and will most likey put it back with out dropping the sub frame. But I'm curious for next time: now that I have the lift i'm wondering if it's be easier to drop the sub frame with the engine? I've done some searching on the forms I know this has been discussed before, but apparently my search kung fu sucks because I can't come up with the right combination of key words to find something. If dropping the sub frame makes a lot more sense, think it would make sense for me to drop it anyways and reinstall the engine from the bottm?

I've read dropping it is easier, but you just gotta be very careful of the alignment.

I've pulled the motor 4 times now and have never dropped the subframe. It's not necessary and is easy to do the regular way. Plus dropping the subframe means you will have to get an alignment when you are done.
