Even though I've spent thousands on mods on my 39 mon leased S4Avant, just can't seem to want to "spring" for the min costs of :
$1200+ for coilovers, $900(+$100 for perches) Intrax/koni plus install.
I don't expect to put more than 8K miles/yr on the avant (other car is a NSX)
Therefore, my question is, if I just do the MTM springs,(dampering rate OK for stock), drive mostly streets in New England,only a few autocrosses/yr.Can I hope to get 30k miles estimated on stock shocks?
Guess most people will flame me and say I ought to cough up the bucks for adding shocks or go coilovers, right?
