Excess movement in seats

Excess movement in seats
Has anyone experienced excess movement in their front seats? My drivers seat slips about 1/4-1/2 inch in forward/backward translation. I know it doens't seem like much but it's a little unnerving when you hammer the brakes and your seat slides forward. Also, I can grab the seat backs and move them back and forth which I find sloppy considering my pathfinder seats are rock-solid. My S4 has less than 1000 miles on it and I plan to bring this to the shop's attention but wanted to see if anyone out there has the same issues, or if this is "normal".
I know alot of folks may think I'm completely **** when they read this and they're right.
Thanks, Bob

Yup, mine does it. Dealer (or AoA) refused to fix it.
My plan is to call Audi and get on them about fixing it, and if they don't, I'll pay to fix it and file a small claims lawsuit, because I feel its a safety issue.
You're not being **** about it. Its yet another inexcusable problem S4s frequently seem to have. Dealer told me AoA said it was normal, but until the dealer or Audi can show me in the specs for the car that I bought the optional dealer-side rocking chair, I expect them to fix it.

Its NOT normal, but a lot of us have had this problem. Take it in to the dealer.
Some of us have had repairs of different kinds. My driver's seat was taken out and put back in (by the dealer), and it seems fine now.
Other people have had their seat track or frame replaced, and that fixed the problem, although a few people reported that the problem returned even after a replacement seat track/frame.
I would agree that this problem is totally unacceptable.
This is the first car in which I have experienced this problem; And I have owned and driven a LOT of cars. Audi should feel ashamed and embarrased about this problem.

Re: Excess movement in seats
Looks like the slipping in for/aft translation problem is not new. How about the seatbacks? Can you guys "wiggle" your seatbacks back and forth like I can "wiggle" mine?
