I knew that the S4 Avant was special in many ways, but didn't find it to need such an escort to Sunset Blvd from the 405 in LA.

I was visiting my friend at UCLA, and we decided to catch a drink on Sunset Plaza and people watch. As I turned onto Sunset, timing would have it that on the left flank, An Imola Diablo VT, a very nice dark gray metallic Ferrari 550, and up in front of me a red 360 surrounded my own exotic.

It was sort of like how bike gangs surround you and you kind of just go with the flow, except I was surrounded by a gang of Italian exotics.

As we pulled up to the light at the beggining or end (however you look at it) of the Sunset Strip at the Hustler store, the Imola Diablo rolls down the window, as I had mine down already and comments on the brakes. I politely gestured a thank you and told the passenger that their car wasn't so bad either, and a nice color choice to boot.

Gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

Man, talk about a busy road. But then again, it has its perks. The ladies were exceptional tonite.

I've seen an Imola Avant parked near Veteren and Gayley quite a few times. I live one street away, and pass by there 500 times a day.
