The Fast and the Furious in South Jersey
Friday night I was headed down Rt 38 to Home Depot and a bunch of headlights comes up quickly from behind weaving through the relatively light traffic.
I was at the back of a slow group of cars kinda bunched together since we just left a light. The headlights come up and are mix of Talons/GS-Ts or GSXs (1st and 2nd gen) totalling 4 or 5 and one turbo 240SX pulling up behind and to my side. All start with the BOV psshht stuff while we're rolling along. (I posted about a talon sportin the BOV about a week ago and I think he was with em).
Long story short, I happened to get a light next to the 240 (he was the lead one in the pack). 3500-4K launch up to 60 and I didn't see him till a second or two after I shut down and he goes flying by. His buddies were waaaay back but I think they were giving him room.
Although we were still in traffic together for a few miles, they kinda ignored me after that.
Of course I know that any of these cars can be tuned to be very fast, but these particular cars didn't touch MTM stg 2 to 60.

I took a look online at turbo kits for 240s....over 300hp for 3-4 grand....
That kinda power in a light, RWD car is gonna eat a car like mine...I was gonna follow them in to Cherry Hill Mall to ask what he had but, I had errands to run.
I don't usually goof around like that but hey, if I get spanked, I get spanked.
Looking back at my post, I probably shouldn't have titled it that way, just popped into my head when all the mitsu's came through like a little swarm...engines reving, BOVs BOVing, weaving. The 240 had that lowered stiff bounce.

Don't mess with those silvias(modded 240's)....
there engines blocks can take over 1000 hp in the most powerfull versions...
my friends have a couple here in Montreal, and destroyed me on the highway....and yes, I am chipped + exhaust...
those guys have HUGE turbos...300 hp is nothing....try 450 hp in a car that's almost 1000 pounds less then ours....
