Final reminder: Autocross Sunday in South Bend, IN at TireRack. Chicago area folks are welcome.
The South Bend Region SCCA is having an autocross at the TireRack's test track in South Bend, IN on Sunday, August 5th. Here's a map if you're interested in coming. It's about a 2 hour drive from Chicago and 2.5 hours from Indianapolis. There's hardly ever any Audis at one of these events, so it would be nice if someone would show up this time. :P
Registration is from 9:00am to 10:30am central time. First car off is around 11:45am. Last time, the event lasted till 4:00 or so and each driver got 5 runs. Cost is $17, and it's well worth it if you've never done this before. Everything is really safe, so you don't have to worry about breaking your car like on a high-speed track.
Yes, I drive a TT, and no I don't care that my Haldex system is supposedly inferior. If you wanna prove it to me, come on out to South Bend.
Email me or post here if you have any questions.
