Default Nice to know there are some other "male" appliance nuts out there other than myself...

My wife and I are redoing our kitchen, and we just finalized our appliances this weekend. We're going with Sub Zero and Wolf, with a Miele Dishwasher. Can't wait to get it done (won't be till the end of the summer). Good luck with the new kitchen; looks SWEET!!

Default Aren't you the guy I argue about polish and glaze with on the detail forum? ; )

That's why I buy half of my detailing supplies like cornstarch, Dawn and children's soft toothbrushes from Safeway. No money left for mods or P21S stuff . . .
I went with Kitchen Aid convections, Kitchen Aid micro, Kitchen Aid dishwasher, Thermador 6 burner pro series and the Sub Zero 632.
Couda damn near got another S4 for that . . .
At least modding your kitchen affects the resale value positively . . .

Default Yeah, that's me. Seems we have more in common than we thought...

We're also going with the Sub Zero 632. Nicest fridge I've seen (blew the Viking unit away). Like the Thermador Rangetop you picked. Almost picked the same one, but ended up choosing the Wolf 6 burner pro rangetop. Just liked the simmer feature a little better (both awesome units; can't go wrong with either one, they're both top quality. It was just a matter of personal preference). We also chose a Wolf 36" Pro Hood, and their Double Dual Convection ovens (they're really sweet). We went with the Wolf warming drawer also, and finally decided on the Miele dishwasher; very flexible. I can totally empathize with how much this stuff costs. Never would have guessed in a million years. It's certainly limiting my future S4 investments.

Default Daayum - you guys are way out of my league. Such is life in the world of no

ongoing paychecks and a lousy investment market......

Default Tell me about it. This stock market is killing me. The only good investment still out there is

real estate (at least here in NY). Seems to me that we work harder every year and have half as much free time to enjoy the spoils of war.
