Default I thought you'd never ask. (more)

Fitment was more time consuming and difficult that I thought. Not the least of which was getting the old shocks off.

The rears are a pain to fit and adjust because there is just so little space in which to do it. Don't expect to tweak them often unless you have a lift, or a jack or excess time.

Anyway got em on and they must have "settled" since because I wanted 25 7/8" up front and 26 back- the roads are good to poor here and I have speedbumps to deal with- but they are all about 25 1/2-3/4" more or less. I'll have to go back in and adjust accordingly. Is this customary with coilovers?

How do they feel? I'll do a full shake out this weekend but initial response is slightly firmer ride than stock and not unduly harsh- just as I wanted. The Bils and the Vogs seem to compliment each other.

I have sway bars front and rear and the combined effect now is very little pitch and roll. Feels like a tigher package overall. My "boating" days are over it seems!

In short, it all seems to work well together and the ECS kit is pretty much as advertised.

I'll know for sure how it works at speed this w/e and let you know if interested.

Default Settling is totally normal. I suggest you drive the car at least a few hundred miles before you go

back to adjust the ride height.

Default It would be wise then to place the settings at higher than desired because of the way gravity works.

That is, things can only settle downward and not up.

Guess I should have realised that but a reminder form the vendors would have been helpful. Actually maybe Vogtland did, but IF they did it was in German.

I suppose I should hold off on aligment for a while too?

Default exactly my point. Wait until settling is past and you adjust to your desired

height (allow for a little less settling then) and then go do your alignment.

Default In any event, no more "bouncy castle" ride-wise.

If you have kids you know what I mean.

(Do people without kids even know what a bouncy castle is??!?)
