Some of the vent slits don't even reach the guage.
I painted the sides of the guage black and the the red LED light makes the color match perfect.
I wish I had a white needle and can you just buy the vent without the housing? Anybody know the part number? I put mine in the vent to the left of the wheel. Those are smaller than the center vents.

Default Maybe you should STFA before doing anything to your car next time.

Should have bought this. $43.00

Then add the red LED.

Should have cut the vent with this.

This is in the archives more than once by me, and others too.

It was also posted two days ago ;-)

Default s4Poor, question about the vaccuum line in your setup

Hi, I actually have the same boost guage (I'm pretty sure you recommended it to me here on AW... thanks again) and I had it installed by a shop, but now I need to take it out (painting the white plastic shell black).

how do I disconnect the vaccuumm line from the back of the boost gauge? is it clamped on, or screwed in?

(what's the best way to reconnect it?

thanks!

Default The brass fitting that you see on the back just un-screw it. Should be able to

by hand. If they really tightened it, use a 6mm I think.

It's the one that the vac' line goes into ;-)

FYI: You can just wrap black electrical tape on the back housing.

Default No write up really, just a list of what I bought. Go to....

Egauges and buy that gauge "Isspro", then in their bulbs section, buy the T-10 light. Part# "WLED-R". You can get the vac' line kit at any hardware store for about $5-$10.

Use a 50-51mm door **** drill bit to cut your vent, then file it down a bit.

Good to go ;-)

why doesn everyone insist on freehanding this with a dremel? A hole saw=five minutes to perfection
