Default better turn in? i basically want the car lowered but, not stiffer, i don't track the car...

i guess the closest i get is taking an off/on ramp to a highway at faster speeds... lol

Default I'm gonna be throwing my H&R/Bilstien setup up for sale in a week or so

Probably what you are looking for. Nice drop and still a comfy ride. Definitely wont handle as well as the Vogtland GT setup, but it seems like you are going for looks and comfort more than handling.

The drop

Regardless of if you want mine, it seems the H&R/Bilstien setup is what you are looking for. If you want performance, I wouldn't recommend it. Vogtlands GT's (from Startup) if you are on a budget seem to be the way to go there. But for looks the H&R/Bilstiens are cheap and they get the job. Haven't gotten any complaints about harshness either. Actually 2 Motorsport owners (Davenew and Fixedwing) have both commented on how comfortable the car rides. Granted that's because they are running 650/750 and 700/800 spingrates repsectively and the H&R's are 400/375, haha.

price, mileage on the setup, etc... and we can possibly work something out...

its hilarious, about a month ago, i was ready to throw in the towel on her and go with an 04 A4 Ultrasport but, realized how stupid i was... now i'm just gonna fix the stupid **** (dead lines in lcd, rear view mirror & and my front bumper) and keep her for as long as she runs...

Default The grooves allow you to adjust the spring perch position so you can lower it a little and keep the

soft springs

Default I was logging with a Audi guy and he thought my Startup Racing GT setup was stock

The ride is a little firmer, but really hardly noticable, the handling is much nicer however. I guess it is due to the progressive spring rate they use. It will handle small loads like normal driving easy, but when you push it hard they move into the stiffer part of the range and really improve things. I'm very happy with mine.

Default I'd recommend the Vogtland coilovers. Rides fairly plush but allows you to lower it...

I think you can raise it near to stock height too.

Default I would disagree with "hardly noticable" as I rock SR GTs now. My Eiboch Pro Kit (springs and damp)

were very comfortable. Near stock in cushyness but dropped the car with slight gains in rigidity. JMS-Four has the my old Eiboch kit now so he could give input as well. The drop was pretty low but so are H&Rs and other nice kits.
