Might be a decent deal....here is why......
Sure they are asking $20k and these guys will argue all day long that you can find S4s for $14k or less.
Things to consider. There really are only 12K ish S4 total. Finding another black 6 speed in nice shape can be done, but for what price? What mileage?
Things I see on that car that would cost extra down the road *if* you want them.
-M3 Lip $100+
-Big Brakes...at LEAST $1,000+ upwards of $4k
-Samco hoses $500 plus install
-Nice wheels
-RS4 bumper...at LEAST $1,500 to buy, install, paint.
-H&R coilovers..at LEAST $1,200 +install
I would imagine that there may be other things in/on this car that are not listed. Chip? etc etc etc.
Sure you can wait for a better price. Will it have everyting he wants?
I know some say you can buy a stage 3 for that price. Most of which have been beaten on and they are VERY rare. Those that bought them at those prices just happen to be in the market when one went for sale.(of course there is a stage 3 car in the classifieds as we speak)

I agree with one exception
The only color easier to find than black is silver, on a nationwide level. Around here (Atlanta), I see more Black S4s than Silver....
Finding any S4 in good shape is a challenge, but finding a Brilliant Black one would be way easier than finding a Hibiscus, Cactus or Casa. Heck, there is a BB for sale just 2 miles from my house.
