Front Door Problems - Driver's Opening, Passenger's Closing -have STFA'd Extensively (long)
These links were the most promising that I could find:

Driver's door opens 1" and then 'clunk' when opened in a hurry (like when parallel parked on a busy street and trying to get into car before bus turns me into dogmeat).
Passenger door often needs to be closed twice. -It doesn't fully close the first time and my wife needs to often slam it closed a second time (with much greater force).
Anybody have success with sorting any of this out?
I'm trying not to hit every branch on the way down with this (i.e. spending hours fruitlessly only to give up and fork over $800.00 to the dealer for new latches & shop time).
TIA!

Never tried. It looks easy though. I think its a couple hex bolts, i would look/feel if its hitting
high or low and adjust accordingly. Losen the bolts and slide up or down.

Well, problem solved with a can of lithium grease. I sprayed both latches using the straw
and I've tried for two days to make the symptoms come back before posting.
I guess, to my surprise, they hadn't been properly greased before.
I wish everthing on this car was so easy...
