much like a lot of our cars, my front rotors are now warped and need replacement. it would be simple to bring it to the dealership and have them replace them with another set of (i assume) the same crappy rotors. if i do the replacement myself i would want a better rotor than stock but i don't need a high-end setup. brake pads would also get swapped-out.
suggestions?

I went with Zimmerman rotors and Mintex Red Box pads. I've been very happy with the setup.
I figured that the dealer would give me a hard time because of the pads, suspension, and agressive alignment I have on the car. But, the stock rotors aren't that bad, and they are free from the dealer.

from what i have been reading in the archives the stock rotors appear under-engineered and as a result warp frequently with little milage between replacements. for this reason i an suspect of the stock rotors.

it is an 'assured' car so your suggestion of keep burning through the stock ones is well taken. thanks
