fuel gauge vs. miles driven vs. computer (more)

Since I got my S4 back from the dealer, I thought the "miles to go" seemed low. I snapped this pict, driven 119 miles and it says 165 to go but the fuel gauge is not below 1/2 yet. Does this seem par for the course? I don't drive hard and don't typically do rabbit starts.
I didn't know if the dealer disconnected the battery and now my computer needs to go through a couple of tanks before it gets back reading "400+ miles to go" on a tank.
Any insight?
Thanks,
Chris

Miles to go is affected by what mpg you're getting at the current time. Say it says '165 to go' and then you go drive 60 miles on the highway. It might now say '180 miles to go' which is obviously inconsistent with what it said before. But now it's upping its estimates because you're not doing city driving.
Just drive it around at 70 mph in 6th (ooh, uh, whatever your tip's top is) and watch the numbers go up.
