Getting tranny replaced under warranty, any way to get a stronger one?

My syncros are shot and my aftermarket warranty company has agreed to replace it. I want to avoid this failure again. Is there anybody out there that rebuilds them stronger than stock?

sorry for the minor hijack...

you have aftermarket warranty + those mods? Where do you go for service, and what company are you with? I'm pretty darn sure my aftermarket company is down with mods like yours is, but do you go to stealership for the work or a private shop?

I saw that you got a new one put in but can you give me a rundown about it...

where did you get it, how much power is it rated at, did they build it so that the syncros are stronger?

I go to a dealership for almost all of my work. more...

the warranty company is actually extremely lenient compared to the factory warranty. They did send an inspector out because it was such a large claim. When my service advisor took him for a test ride with my car he was only able to grind the gears once but they are still willing to replace the tranny. They are excellent, I would recommend them to anyone.
