Good kill last night Mach1 mustang= 0 vs S4= 2 (a little long)
I was driving home from work last night on route 23 north and there are a series of lights once you get past the regional DMV in Wayne.
I pull up to the light and look over at a mustang that looks a little different and says Mach1 on it. We both are going to launch from the light and my V1 starts to go bananas. I look back and start looking to see if there is a police officer and i see him a ways back. This happens for the next 3 lights and finally the police exits.
At the next light we both launch and he spins his tires while I take off like a bullet. I shut it down at about 65 since his wheel spin made it a lame run. Then I let him pull next to me and we slow down to 30 then we both gun it I pulled away about 3-4 car lenghts when I shut it down at about 90. Of course I cant see the exact distance but I was quite a bit ahead of him when I shut it down.
We both exit at the sunoco gas station and he says "jee that thing can move, you just kicked my ***" I wasnt sure what to say and I said "yea I did some work to it".
The funny part is when I started to think about it I have not really done much speedwise. APR chip on 93 octane program (using 94 octane fuel), Dp's, exhaust, 710N, Bi-pipe, DTS, TG SS. I have quite a bit of other mods but they are suspension, brake and cosmetic related.
I can't wait untill I finish this in the spring and go K04/IC's/fueling. I really have to admit I love my S4 and for the first time ever I have no desire to replace my car. A porshce GT2 will be nice when I have the S4 paid off but that will be an addition not a replacement. This is the first time I own a car over a year and want to keep it (3 to be exact)and I have owned some pretty nice rides
Its nuts how $2500 can make these cars compete with almost anything stock that is out there and 7 to 10K can make you as fast as anything you will run into.
