Got my AWE Tip Chip
First impressions was trying to install it what a wh*re!! I even broke a trim piece trying to get it in! LOL 
Inital Driving:
I don't think it was worth $300 dollars the "sport" mode feels a lot better in the stock programming anyways. One plus the chip does offer is the fast downshifts on the highway thats about it. The car still has the lazy upshifts at WOT. Another problem with the chip is it shifts 1st gear still at like 3000-3500rpms what kinda mod is that?! I am starting to wonder maybe this chip has two settings, Normal and Sport just like its stock friend?? If not I don't know how this can be considered "Superbike Shifting" it was WAYYY off from that. Anyone have any thoughts?

tip chip only addresses
shifting in TIP mode(not D)....makes everything faster i'm told.
also, the VAG recode is what lets you hold first gear as long as yo udon't lift off gas....and also allows you to shift back into first....you can use the VAG rcode in conjunction with the tip chip...
also, if you are going WOT anyway...better to leave in D...it'll shift faster without that funky delay in tip mode...

I donno man....
I got my Tip Chip from PES back in fall of 2000 and downshifts and upshifts are faster in TipMode, whats this upshift at 3k RPM? Dont drive in D so cant really comment on that.

One other thing I forgot to mention is even when in "Tip" mode its still slow, I guess my expectations of a tranny chip are skewed coming from the Camaro world.
