Default Got my car cover from Stratmosphere and interesting dealer service yesterday.....

Got my car cover from Stratmosphere. Very nicely made and it looks like it can hold up to the harsh winters of the east coast. It makes Audi OEM cover look like crap.
I also got my car car back from the dealer 16K service yesterday.I noticed that the dealer scheduled my next service at 20K. Now isn't audi recommended service interval every 8K? I will have to call them up today and see whats going on.
Lehigh S4

Default I found the same thing. They still schedule the oil change for every 3-4K. (m)

I'm not complaining, I'll take the free labor, but it just goes to show how out of touch some service depts. are.

Default The problem is that after the 8K service, they scheduled the next service at 16K

So why would they suddenly decide to change that service interval.
Lehigh S4

Default are you implying that aoa had found something wrong with 8k interval and decided to switch to 4k??

Default My Dealer logged a shorter service interval (m)

but told me it wouldn't be free!! "But really 3k-4k is the proper time to be changing your oil. You don't want to risk the longer period of time"

Thanks.
