Picked up my S4 Tiptronic a few weeks ago... WOW what an amazing car! There are two little things bugging me that maybe someone out there has a solution to:

1) is there a way to turn off the engine and keep the radio playing, short of rotating the key all the way back to a full power on position?

2) is there a way to disable the auto-dimming of the side mirrors? I don't mind the center mirror dimming but the sides seem too dark to me.

They still work that way only now they will turn off if you leave on too long

On the new Audi Symphony Radio, you can take the key out, then press the volume **** in till you hear it click, release, wait a second and the radio turns on.

I think the three mirrors all dim together from the one sensor on the rearview. To disable this feature just put a little piece of black tape over the sensor on the lower edge of the rearview mirror. It's the little hole on the lower edge of the mirror housing, and this is what reads the lighting situation outside and behind you, so as to determine whether or not to dim the mirrors.

You need to do this in the daylight, when the mirrors are in the normal (non-dimmed) position.

To re-enable just remove the tape.
