Got new shoes but...

Can't speak for anyone else, but the whole experience has left me dissolusioned with my Merc....
You couldn't see the damage easily but using a Dial Test Indicator or run-out gauge - you can see it is bad....
Up to you, don't let anyone tell you "I told you so"!
A week isn't too long to wait bearing in mind you'll get years of motoring out of them...
If you damage them yourself you can live with that, but when someone else does, it nags!
Best wishes,
Ram

Well, Fikse is very good about this if his wheel is indeed out of round or not straight...
The wheel got damaged in shipping, badly (the lug bolts in the plastic bag broke loose) and they exchanged the wheel and got me the right spacers (usually at an extra cost) without a hassle or charge.
When you pay a premium for wheels, there is a higher level of service expected, especially when they are brand spanking new.
I would make sure that they were straight. But that "damage" is like a nick, and hardly enough to do structural kind of damage.

I had a very small nick on a spoke....
I felt soon some road debris would do the same or worse and did not return it. They will take care of you if it's a problem though. Beautiful wheels...yours seem heavy though, mine are 42.

totally not worth the time or effort...who sees the inside of your wheels anyways?
seriously, it won't matter a bit. the inside lip will get dinged up from driving them on the street anyways...

I ordered FM5's for my P car - they sent me FM10's - I sent them back and it took...
a month before I got the centers changed to FM5's - that ding is so small, it will not affect the wheel or balance - I'd keep them unless you want to wait a month for replacement.
Remember, there is shipping time BESIDES what it takes to fix'em and shipping cost also.
I almost kept the FM10's cause of the time frame, but in the end, I decided to stay with my original order FM5's. Nice wheels though.
