guys need your help?

I had the X chip in my car for a couple weeks. I liked it alot. Car pulled noticeabley stronger
Boost levels were tolerable. Held 12-14 PSI steady and peaked at 16-18 PSI. I especially like the kick at 4K RPM and it pulled hard to redline. GIAC seems like they know their stuff. ABT is good too, can't go wrong with either IMHO.

I have the latest version of the X-Chip, its fine. However if you're gonna
be running race gas off and on, the Abt will adapt to it better. With the X you'll need the XR additionally (more $$) to take full advantage of race fuel.

Abt and MTM have access to Audi's source code because they licensed it. They know the engine management best. They do all the stuff Audi intended to do, and they reduced the tolerances. So there is not a lot of play in there any more. But they maintain all critical parameters, including exhaust temperature - won't fry you chargers that easily. GIAC and APR do not have access to the source as far as I know. APR seems the most common, and GIAC makes turbos so they know that part of the game. Depends on what you want to do. Long term reliability? I'd go for Abt. Maybe MTM. Fast and furious fun and do not care about emissions? Go GIAC. Compromise between all? APR. All provide more lower end torque than stock, but on the higher RPM scale they differ from each other and from stock pretty dramatically. My $0.02. Not scientifically proven, but my opinion.
