Default Is the H&R/bilstein combo that awe sells any good?

i'd just be daily driving, looking for not a low drop....but if there are better suspensions out there, i wouldn't just want to go with the cheapest....

again, i would never take my car to the track, only daily driving

any upsides/downsides to the suspension

Default Just got them from AWE...

dropped my car too low. Some say my wheels/tires (Hartman DTM 18's and 235 40-18) are too wide, and thus the reason for rubbing of my front fender. I've since had my fenders rolled and I'm waiting on an "afterthought" coilover kit from ECS to allow me to increase me ride height so I don't rub everytime I make a turn. Even with the rolled fenders I still rub when taking a turn at any speed to think of.

It's too low for me, looks good but not practical.

In hind sight, I would either get eibach springs which don't lower as much, or get coilovers. If your going to get he bilstein/H&R, then make sure you get the ecs coilover kit as well and have it all put on at the same time.

Here are some pictures. Mind you, I do like the look just not the damage I was causing everytime I had to turn.

Default Looks great! Just a quick couple of question (m)

Are those S8 wheels or stock with spacers. If spacers, what is the size, and what size tires are you running?

Default even though the spring rates are soft, it's a bit too harsh for bumpy roads. while bilsteins

are good for high performance applications (fast reacting), I found my new vogtlands to be outstanding for the street and light track duty.
