My wife and I were going home and we came to a light with a 98 XK8 - guy about my age(25). Green light, moderate throttle until 10MPH, then I her the Jag start pulling. Having consent from my wife, I let the S4 do its thing all the way to 90 then let off (saw the Jaq in the rearview mirror most of the time) - then the Jag then flew by. I scared the **** out of my wife, but the Jag never pulled out in front. Fun. Did a U-turn, then a couple more turns and wow, the Jag found me again. At the next light we launched moderately hard. You know what happened - the S4 gains a car length by 40 MPH - the Jag didn't have a chance.
Next light we pull up - roll the windows down. I was full of grins and said to the driver nice car. Then showed my stupidity and asked him if it was an auto tranny (stupid-no manual tranny offered). He said auto then asked me "Is that an Audi?". "Yes an S4". He was really cool.
I don't do much drag racing from the stoplight - no point - but am happy to have found another car enthusiast who likes to drive their car once in a while.

PS Did this with a stang GT on the highway in Virginia for about 30 miles. He could never pass the little green 4-door. At the rest area he found me and asked what kind of horsepower my car had. I told him that it was just a little six putting out about 250HP. He just walked away shaking his head.
