Had a run with a 2005 Maserati Coupe, I was minding my own business when he darted
out next to me into far left turn lane(2 lanes going left), so I pulled into one of the left lanes figuring he is game what the hell. We both get on it into the turn then into the straight.
I was able to put about 4 cars on him or so, one of those may have been on the turn since I could go wide being in the outside turn lane.
Tough to say how hard he was pushing it, but I assume he was getting into the throttle pretty good since I wasn't running away from him. Road was clear in front and I shut it down around 80 I suppose.
Specs on the Maserati are 390 HP and 332 TQ (Edmunds.com)so it sounds about right.
I would guess I'm + 40 or so on the torque and about the same HP (91 octane).

If I were to pick a sports car that I curently think is the "best" (subjective)..I would say the F430...that car is simply awsome in all respects...before that it probably would have been the gallardo. Althought the Ford GT is a performance bargin along with the Viper but not really my style. Also the new ZO6 looks like another bargin...but that is REALLY not my style...so probably the F430...but I refuse to over pay for a car that will undoubtly lose value.
