Default I disagree, a lot of those kids probably will put in the turbo timer and learn how to maintain their

"baby". I know I did when I was 18 and I don't think that was out of the ordinary. How do you know they won't be as reliable as a Honday anyway? The Neon itself is pretty reliable and the SRT hasn't been out long enough to really determine it's reliability.

Also, Audi has you thinking that turbo cars must be handled like baby chicks. Many turbo motors are quite reliable. I know plenty of mid '80's Saab and Benz turbo cars that are running up to and past 200k miles with the stock turbo and their owner's never treated them any differently than a naturally aspirated car.

The S4, and I guess to some degree the A4, needs extra special care, that is more a result of the KKK turbo and engine heat than a problem endemic in turbo motors.

Ah...seems simple enough. Odd they didn't do that from the factory if the scoop was there.

Default Imagine if you were in the appropriate gears where your car is fastest

30mph in 3rd? Come on, that is not a fair test. That has to be 2,300 rpm's or so.

You need to run from 5-10mph in first to 100+ to see for sure.

Those damn things are fast as hell, though!

Default forsure as I said... I knew I was faster, I wanted to see what would happen if one got the jump on..

me. The last run was setup just so he could get his *** handed to him but I missed the shift and didn't feel like going again. I left people back at the lot and needed to retrieve them. He was an excellent driver, those things take off like a fvckin jet chirping in 2nd and 3rd.
