Default hahahaah you just have to laugh...

got a check today so = lame excuse to go for a drive...weeeelllll guess what, the airbag light doesn't go out. Okay...get to the bank, deposit check, call my wife and the dealer and dealer says bring it by they'll get me a rental.

So I go down there and ironically park right next to Imola. Now my 996 has a wierd defect in the rear window seal that I've been meaning to get fixed and the key I broke turns out to be a major deal because of the immobilizer chip SOOO leave the car for a day to have all that stuff done at once.

So I saw hi to all the service folks who I know so well...and to Katana's girlfriend who says "uh oh...still have the number for your lawyer?"

Look at the same magazines...Enterprise picks me up and I find out that when you have a poooorrsccchuuuu in the shop you get the most expensive car Enterprise has...which turns out to be a fine Toyota Camry hehehehehe (they were completely out of cars).

So I'm at a now all too familiar intersection in an all to UN-familiar car and Flashdance comes on the who knows what radio channel and I just couldn't help laugh.

Maybe it's revenge for all those bombs my relatives dropped on Germany a while back?

Default Had some service buds there didn't ya Pete. A Camry huh? Been in a 2.7t A6 for the

past five weeks for my S4 "outage." Ironic that you step up a level and the loaners drop back two. Just wanna drive what I'm paying for I guess. Hope to have a replacement soon. Hope your service is quick and fruitful...

Default no loaners...

they use Enterprise...too much liability in CA for a dealer to loan you a car unless you're a real bud of the owner or something...or the dealer is exceptional.

I probably would have had a PT Cruiser but the guys said they'd rented everything out by first thing in the morning and they were really scraping to get this car.

Think it's a 4-cylinder...more or less viceless (except for a shocking lack of power) but it's typical Camry completely and utterly unexciting in every concievable way.

Yep, but you're the man when the car is well. A small sacrifice to the car-maintenance gods I guess.

Default Are you going to be a repeat lemon law client?

For your sake , I hope not. If so, you'll have to get a Camry for your next ride.
