Default Halogen or xenon ecode... or even e code?

Hey guys, I want to buy these e-codes. The seller says that they are real e-codes, but I have some douts. First of all, shouldnt the projector be blue/purple? Does it loook like he just removed the amber from the regular halogen headlights, and is just saying that they are e-code? Any insight will be helpfull.
Thanks.

Default Look like real e-codes to me.

The turn signal bulb cover is in there and it looks like there is a white reflector as well.

Default They have city lights, so yes, they are e-codes.......

Some of those pics look odd tho. I swear there is a hole in the dragon eye in one of those pics.....

A picture of the back can easily confirm HID or halogen.

Default those are real ecodes (corner bulb cover). as for halogen/xenon i'd have to see the bulb holder

and no, they won't necessarily be purple/blue projectors. that just depends upon the reflection (flash/no flash etc).

the bulb holder for HID/xenon will have a big grounding basket, the halogen will not.

the grounding basket (dunno what the real term for it is) is several thin metal "fingers" that kinda looks like a flower. the bulb seat and connector sits inside this. i'm pretty sure the basket is for EMI sheilding.

oh, and if they are halogen units the hole for the ballast will NOT be cut out in the bottom. there will be a place for it. but in the HID units half of the inside has a hole for the thick part of the ballast and the cable.

They're xenon for sure.....you can tell by the 'gap' for the levelling feature.

They are real e-codes, they look like Halogen though, I need to see a better picture of the back.

Default what gap? Both xenon and halogen need to be able to adjust, xenon just adds a motor

to do fine adjustment. But otherwise, I think the parts (reflector/gap) are built the same.

Quick Reply: Halogen or xenon ecode... or even e code?
