one liter of the fluid every three months seems high. What fluid do you use?

that should be fine. I assume you do have a leak. Check the master cylinder, and also the clutch.

Default what probs? I had mine replaced with 1 mo. of warranty left...

I was playin' a lil' in the snow but not crankin' it I had no, or little, power assist at low speeds but worked while driving. It was definately there at speed but not at slow to stop. no exact diagnosis, just replaced.
...good luck!

Default Got mine changed 2 months ago after "snow spin axel" (!)

I went at the local shopping centre parking to do some snow donuts / axels and my pump busted... When you're idle, steering wheel gets very hard ; when you're rolling, it's ok. Audi changed it on the fly.
