has anyone ripped apart the auto-dimming mirrors? how do they work?

Default that's nice. where's the "circuit board" -- inside the mirror or somewhere else?
i went to their recommended distributor...they only sell the center mirrors. i want the sides too.

Default All I can find is automatic anti dazzle mirror, and it looks like a 6 pin connector

Actually those 2 wires are the heater circuit. The green/black wire connector on right = auto-dim.
