Has anyone traded in their A4 for an S4
I am thinking of trading in my 99.5 A4 1.8 for an S4 since my car is in the dealership. I think I may possibly have a transmission problem. I was driving down the highway and then it happened. I would step on the accelerator and nothing would happen. I rpms would just climb. I placed the car into tip mode and see that the car is in fourth gear. I would put it into fifth gear and nothing would happen. I am thinking it is the transmission but the dealer has not found the problem yet. I hope it is nothing major. If I trade in my A4 for an S4 how much more would it be? Thanks for the help.....Hope to get my car back soon.

Probably about half of us here have...just bend over and grab your ankles if you trade your A4 in...

I traded in a '99 A6 2.8Q and my ankles still have grab marks ;-)
