I'm having problems with the mute wire, it seems to be "hot" all the time. Once the phone is docked in the cradle it mutes the radio!
wondering if anyone has a way around this?
BTW, i'm using the DB25 connector in the trunk to wire the kit in, was real simple except for this muting problem.

an original MOT kit that supports mute? but the startac kit doesn't. that sucks.

There is only one wire that is labeled as the mute.
It basically a very easy 3 wire install, switched, unswitched and ground. Im thinking it may have something to do with the ground, but i'm not sure.

I basically followed ed p's tech article, so maybe i have the pinouts wrong. I was hoping for a quick answer, but alas i'll have to sit in my garage tonight and try to figure this out.

I post pics and the pinouts if i ever figure this out
