headlight guards?

Default Hmm.. What about making a steel strap that goes over the support and bolts to the back of it...

I'm having trouble picturing the setup though, since I no longer have my A4.

Default How about a spring loaded knife in the lower part of the bumper? That would

certainly cause some damage to a persons leg.

Default how about...

you could run wires to the back of the hood release and have them actuated by a toggle switch mounted in a hidden location and set up in such a way that when someone pulled the hood release they got a nice shock.

maybe the trick is to have a quick release mechanism to take your headlights with you when leaving the vehicle for the night
