Heated windshield washer question
What turns on the heating element in the nozzles? Had one heck of a time going to and from Wilkes Barre yesterday. Washers kept freezing up even though I had fluid in there that was good to -34f. Never had this problem before and wonderig if the heating elements in the washers are shot or maybe I had a bad batch of fluid?

You sure they were freezing and not clogging?
I've never had frozen nozzles even on cars without heating elements for them (and at temperatures of -30C or less). But I have had problems with nozzles clogging due to a buildup of scale residue from the fluid.

Nope, frozen They would be fine after car sat with hot engine
and they were fine this morning after being in the garage. I'm begining to think I had a bad batch of fluid and it took awhile to flush out. Still curious about the heated nozzles. Wonder if they are all the time?
