HELP!? moving to from LA to NYC... Recommend Transport services?
I want a reliable and rather inexpensive way of transporting my car from La to NYC Also if any of the fellow S4'ers in NYC could recommend a safe and inexpensive place to park around the city. Thanks

sorry to scare you, but "inexpensive" and "safe" in nyc?? hard to come by...m
where about in manhattan will you be staying? some neighborhoods Long term parking rates are a bit cheaper than others...but definitely no such thing as INEXPENSIVE parking in manhattan, they get 300$ to 600$ a month.
as far as safety goes,,, YES, you CAN sleep nights without worrying your car is getting dragged on madison ave. BUT, you'll need to set that straight with the attendants and make sure you give them a hefty xmas present!

I think your going to want to sell your S4 once you get to NYC. Look at the cars there, (MORE)
dented, have hundreds of scratches, and have been hit a thousand times from people parking. If you don't love your car bring it to NYC. If you love it leave in LA. BTW if you bring to NYC a good shipping place is Dependable Auto Shippers DAS for short. They have online quotes and have options to get it there faster or on the top rack so cars don't leak fluid on your car. All for extra $$$ of course. Good Luck, enjoy NYC.

S44my30's response is right on target...also depends if you are planning
on using the fcar daily (i doubt it if you are living in manhattan as NYer's are pedestrians..well on mnahattan anyways) or need it on the weekndsa nd occasionally during the week...good luck. nyc is a great city...thought the 5 yeras i was there i idn't have to deal with owning a car. good luck.

You guys are making it seem worse than it is...
Its not that bad out here jlo. You just have to be careful where you park your car and if you do park it in the city I reccommend you put it in a garage instead of on the street. Just dont go to North Jersey. Let us know when you get out here, maybe you can meet up with us NYC guys and chill.

no parking...
get a large garage in Jersey and sleep in your car. Unfortunately I really dont know of any where SAFE to leave ur car in NYC or jersey for that matter unless you are privately garage kept. You leave ur S4 in a secured parking garage, ok it might not get stolen, but your looking at holes in your rear bumper that are unavoidable (you NY boys know what I mean).
