HELP: Oil Minimum Warning Light (more)

Here is the deal ... 15k miles, last oil change was at 10k, stock setup. Was planning to change the oil light this weekend when tonight the oil minimum icon falsehd where it flashes low on gas. Should I be worried? Help and any advice is appreciated (I am putting oil in it in the AM)

check your oil first before adding. I had this go on twice...

first time, I was low on oil (when car was Scond time, I was cruising at 70 mph towards Seattle, and the darn light came on. I immediately took the next exit and parked the car. Then I checked the oil and it was fine. So, I shut off the car, waited 2 minutes, and stared it again to my surprise that the light was gone.

Go figure.
