Crisis averted. I moved it into a folder which I had write rights, since it was a revit central file project folder. I'm used to unix permissions systems from my server so it all made sense once he said that... besides how it ended up moving and not just making a copy.

not saying that your brother only draws pretty buildings, but well, thats why those architects and builders of suburbia are going out of business. architecture and design has never been just about pretty buildings that are impossible to build.. thats just carelessness

I'm generally extremly impressed with what a good arch. firm can do. But I always get annoying be some common oversites dealing with ceiling grid layouts and electrical room placements.

I give my brother sh*t but I'm still really proud of him. I just think it's funny that someone who designs skyscrapers has to take fewer math courses than someone who wants to become a marriage counselor...
