Well...
Dude I didn't SAY you should reveal your "walk away" price... THAT would be stupid ;-)
But really, that's pretty much the definition of a sale... there's a maximum price someone will buy something for, and a minimum price someone will sell it for. If they intersect, and there's a large area of overlap, then it depends on negotiation, and the better deal maker will get the better deal. If there's no overlap, then a sale won't happen.
Anyway, one dealer's minimum price may be below another's. And saying "is this a good deal?" really depends on where you are. If it is the last car and he's not bluffing... well then I guess you can get an automatic Maxima and enjoy it ;-)

It's not the "last car"..I found the same exact car in an 02..just not sure pricing yet
I'm not sure if it is wise to have a bid war between my broker and another dealer. I don't want to lose my chance to buy the cars. hehe

I paid full MSRP, and had to wait 7 mos. for delivery.
But I knew what I wanted - and paid the price. I find it mildly amusing that you are arguing over $500-$1300 - which is peanuts! After the sales taxes, luxury taxes, and what-all fees, I paid a sliver under 50K to drive away. And I love every minute I'm in it! It's only money - you only live once.

I hear ya...
Almost the same here. I didn't haggle. Just bought the car. I hate people haggling over my fees. Everyone's gotta make a buck. that's what makes the ecomomic pie ROUND.
