Here's what's left of my S4 and what's coming next........
Tomorrow will be 8 weeks since the untimely demise of my beloved S4 at the Glen. This is pretty much all that is left in my garage:

I'll be keeping it. Still have some new K03's and used clutch/FW that I'll put in the classifieds eventually, but most of the other goodies are gone. I'm waiting for the wreck to come up at auction to see if it's worth buying. I'll keep the forum posted. This is what's next for me:

Going to pick it up in Pittsburgh this week. It still needs to get checked out by a BMW dealer, but it looks pretty clean. 98 M3 with 68k, stock. I feel a little bit like a traitor, but for what I was looking for (track bitch), the M3 fit the bill. I considered the 944 turbo, SPEC Miata and a couiple others before settling on the M3. Plan on starting with at least a roll bar, sway bars, seats & harnesses, and a couple other preventitive measures this winter to get it ready for the track in the spring. I'm sure I'll be upgrading other items as I learn the car on the track. I have access to a race shop that runs the M3 professionally (Jeff McMillen) and that weighed into my decision to go with the BMW. Would have liked to stay with silver, but I'll get used to the red. I look forward to putting an Audi back in my garage eventually. Maybe an RS4 in a couple years :-).
